First Day

Hi, my name is Colin White. I'm from Seminole, FL. I am double majoring in Film and Music Technology. Throughout high school, I took a video production class and won a few contests. Film has always been something I liked doing as it allows me to be creative. I play bass in a local band that has played at many venues. We even won a Battle of the Bands in the spring. I have been in boy scouts all through high school and achieved the rank of Eagle scout this past winter. I have many outdoor and leadership skills that can come in handy later in life. I have always been very interested in both film and music and have always been a very creative minded person. I always come up with different ideas that others may not think of. I like all kinds of music and movies but action films and rock music are my favorites. This class sounds like it will be a lot of fun. I will get to learn lots about technology and its uses in art. I am looking forward to the rest of my first semester at UT.
